Unlimited Amulets, Rings - Version 1.2 (SE Version)
---------------------------------------------------
This is an SSE port of an old mod I originally wrote back in the early days
of Skyrim LE. Amongst the earliest of those mods were plugins that removed
the limitation on the number of rings and amulets that could be worn
at once. These tended to work in the same sort of way, by playing tricks
with the equipment slots so the game was fooled into allowing more than
one ring or amulet at once, usually at the expense of not allowing
equipped rings or amulets to be visible when worn. And for most people
who didn't like the vanilla limitation (including me) this was an
acceptable tradeoff.
My original LE mod did not implement some clever way of getting round the
limitation while still letting equipped jewelry be visible, instead
it addressed a different issue that these early mods had - specifically
that they WERE early mods, and as such were developed before the CK was
released and/or were made with broken third-party tools.
This SSE port differs in that there are no separate Dawnguard and Dragonborn
plugins anymore, they are integrated into the main plugin. It also has current
USSEP fixes to rings and amulets integrated.:wq
Installation
------------
The Data directory contains three plugins:
- SPTUnlimitedAmulets.esp - As many amulets as you can hang
around your neck.
- SPTUnlimitedRings.esp - Encase your fingers with jewelry.
Available in a separate download is:
- SPTUnlimitedAmuletsRingsBrumaSE.esp - If you want Beyond Skyrim Bruma's
amulets and rings to be included.
You must have Beyond Skyrim Bruma
Installed.
These should be copied to your game installation's Data directory,
typically '...\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data'. You don't
have to copy all of them - if you only want unlimited rings but not unlimited
amulets, for example, only copy the rings plugins. The Beyond Skyrim Bruma
patch includes both amulets and rings.
Once copied, make sure the plugins are enabled using your mod-management
tool of choice.
If you use Wrye Bash, you can merge the plugins into your bashed patch.
