Grease is a 1971 musical by Jim Jacobs and WarRen Casey. The musical is named for the 1950s United States working-class youth subculture known as the greasers. She performed as Young Nala in the Lion King on Broadway for seven months before being diagnosed with AML Leukemia in April 2010. Her strength, grace, and love for life have been an inspiration to all those who know and love her, as well as anyone who has heard her story. The Lion King and Broadway community are coming together for a night of singing to benefit Shannon Tavarez and her family. A adidas campus ll proceeds from this show will go directly to Shannon.There will be a $15 cover charge and a 2 drink minimum.
